the location woudl ve been lovely if it wasn’t so remote, making it difficult for real walkers like me to reach the coast path. also, the room's temperature issues were quite disappointing. considering the service, I would have expected a complimentary gesture to make my stay feel special, but that apparently wasn't in the cards. I honestly almost gave a good review, but I just couldn’t.

Room had a lovely view of the garden. Comfortable sleeping experience, perfect for unwinding after a long day.
The location is a bit remote from the coast path, making it somewhat inconvenient for walkers without a nearby pick-up service. One room was chilly, contrasting with the warmth of the first-floor room during my stay.

The garden view from my room at Sheviock Barton was lovely, offering a peaceful ambience. I appreciated the comfortable sleeping experience. everything felt just right after a day of exploring. The ambiance of the farmhouse stood out, too—stunning decor and a warm atmosphere made me feel at home. I enjoyed the variety of items available for breakfast, including fresh fruit and delicious cooked options. at checkout, I was surprised by the abrupt ending to my stay. I believed my confirmation stated I had until 11 AM to check out. This misunderstanding created an awkward moment as I felt rushed. Despite this, the staff had been welcoming throughout my stay. If they could enhance communication around checkout times, it would greatly improve the overall experience.

Cozy and welcoming stay!
Had a fab time with my fam! The room was super cozy and clean, really made us feel at home. Breakfast was a treat, especially the special diet options. Only thing was, it took a bit to get to the main attractions. Still, loved our stay!

I had a pleasant stay. My room had nice views of the garden, which were enjoyable. Breakfast was good, and the cooked options provided a satisfactory meal to start the day. I traveled with my family and appreciated the attention from the hosts when I asked for dinner recommendations. It made planning our evening easier after a long day of travel.
The room was a bit on the small side. It felt somewhat cramped at times, but it didn’t affect my overall experience.
